Recycled Treasure (week two)
Monday 07/27/2020
Application - In a scratch piece of paper brainstorm:
- About the materials that you might be using
- Answer the question: What is beautiful to you or what do you want to express?
Tuesday - 07/28/2020
Today you will:
- Gather materials to be used, remember to try to get recycled materials or worn out materials / objects; if they are not yours ask for permission =)
- In a piece of paper design a simple draft of your idea (work of art), if you can, write a few sentences why are you creating that ...
Still undecided, go to google and search: "easy garbage art" - Begin your work of art, you don't have to finish today
See you at 9:00 a.m. to show you some examples =)
Wednesday - 07/29/2020
Today you will:
- Finish your Recycled Treasure, remember it doesn't have to be perfect but it has to be meaningful for you
- From your Paper Packet, fill out the reflection (see image below). If you used a space for the Epic Marble Race continue on the next spot.
- If you need to, make any adjustments or improvements if they are needed, again "it doesn't have to be perfect but it has to be meaningful for you" ... ask yourself, would I buy this art piece? for how much?
See you at 9:00 a.m. to show you some cool examples =)
Thursday - 07/29/2020 - Today is the last day of Discovery Days

Take one or two of your projects to show off, we'll give you a Discovery Days Certificate, and some treats ... specially if you were attending to Google Meets every day. Don't step out of the car, just drive by and we'll take you the goodies =)
2. OPTIONAL - Create an ad for your art piece (25 House Points)
Do you know that everyone is selling something at all times? Even you, your parents, your family, your Teacher ... everyone =)

Minimum of 30 seconds - Maximum of 90 seconds
Record as many videos as you like, and/or erase the ones you don't like =)
Relax and do your best =)
